Job Overview:
The Manager at The Buzz is expected to have advanced knowledge of all products and services offered by
Buzz Cafe and is responsible for the oversight of daily cafe operations including guest relations management,
leadership of wine program, staff training & scheduling, coffee & wine inventory management, and reporting
on restaurant/bar activities to upper management. The Restaurant Manager is expected to work in tandem
with the Grease & Honey Restaurant Management Team towards advancement of the brand as a whole and
to increase customer experience between restaurants.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily staff oversight
- Head of guest relations
- Head of wine and coffee programs
- Effectively address customer comments, concerns, and complaints
- Ensure product quality in all departments
- Scheduling of front of house staff
- Training of front of house staff
- Quality control in all departments
- Reporting potential operations changes, staff changes, and disciplinary actions to upper management
Qualifications:
- Ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Management experience required
- Food safety knowledge preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office and spreadsheets preferred.
- Valid Kenosha Bartender’s License required in first 90 days.
- Better than average communication and organization skills
- Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
