Job Overview:

Baristas are responsible for cash register operation as well as crafting our creative menu of coffee and tea

based beverages. Baristas are knowledgeable about all relevant aspects of coffee & tea and their different

methods of preparation. Baristas also facilitate the sale of other retail items including wine and beer and

should have a general knowledge of those products as well. Baristas are the number one point of

contact for customers of The Buzz and should be exceptional examples of customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service
• Preparation and service of coffee and tea based beverages
• Order taking and cash register operation
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and dining area
• Responsibility for cash drawer and report accuracy
• Assist with inventory maintenance

Job Overview:

BuzzTenders are responsible for on premise and retail sales of over 200 craft beers and 200 unique wines.

This position is expected to hold a greater than average knowledge of wine and beer products, their service,

and applicable local laws. In additon to sales, the Buzztender is responsible for providing exceptional food

and beverage service to guests seated at the bar or in the lounge area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service

Job Overview:

This position serves as the first and last contact point with every guest entering the restaurant and is responsible for ensuring the efficiency and quality of service in the restaurant. A host at Sazzy B must be able to think on their feat to shift and move reservations in order to serve the most guests possible without sacrificing customer service quality. Hosts are also responsible for identifying and correcting seating/pacing issues before they happen as well as maintaining a general awareness of guests’ status/needs during service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Efficiently seat dining guests
• Maintain a “wait list” and work to keep any guests from leaving while “on a wait”

Job Overview:

Provide auxiliary support to service staff by maintaining the cleanliness of dining areas as well as providing basic customer service to restaurant guests. This position has shifts at both Sazzy B, and The Buzz and requires professional attire and presentation due to close working proximity with guests of the restaurant. This is a great starting position to learn the details of service and presentation in the service industry at several levels of cuisine. Successful team members will show interested in learning and be hard working, punctual, and self motivating.

• Deliver finished food orders to dining guests
• Fill waters for dining guests
• Alert service staff of any customer requests, complaints, or concerns

Servers at Sazzy B are expected to perform in a fast paced, high end environment without sacrificing quality of service.  This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and hospitality to dining guests of Sazzy B. Servers are expected to have comprehensive knowledge of all products available for sale and the ability to make recommendations, suggestions, and alterations based on the that knowledge. The expected knowledge includes, but is not limited to, craft cocktails, wine, craft beer, high end dining, and common allergens.

This position serves as the bridge between the kitchen and service staff as well as an overseer of  food quality and presentation before it is delivered to a guest. The Expediter is the final authority on every food item’s quality and organization for the kitchen as well as responsible for timing and organization courses and food delivery for the service staff. Successful team members will show interested in learning and be hard working, punctual, and self motivating.

• Responsible for food presentation and quality control
• Ensure accurate delivery of guest orders

• Coordinate timing and organization between F.O.H. and B.O.H.
