Job Overview:
Wash and put away dishes as well as provide auxiliary support to kitchen staff by maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen areas as well as performing basic maintenance tasks related to kitchen equipment. Due to lower customer volume during A.M. hours, this position also includes major cleaning projects necessary for maintaining a high level of sanitation and efficiency in the kitchen and storage areas. The A.M. Dishwasher is also responsible for checking in, and organizing food deliveries. Successful team members will show interest in learning and be hard working, punctual, and self motivating.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes and kitchen tools during service
- Maintain cleanliness dish pit and surrounding area
- Clean Fryers
- Major cleaning projects – Hood Vents, Wall Washing, Sweep Basement etc.
- Check in, put away, and organize food deliveries
- Clean and organize Walk In Cooler
- Break down and organize boxes
- Maintain par levels of plate ware and silverware for bar and service staff
Qualifications:
- Ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Must be over the age of 16 or provide valid work permit
- Reliable transportation preferred
- Must be punctual and responsible.
- Must be capable of lifting objects up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
