Job Overview:

 

All duties of Line Cook including preparation of our creative and exciting menus during service as well as preparing menu items before service. The Sous Chef is also responsible for assisting the Head Chef management duties to ensure a well stocked and organized kitchen as well as offering leadership to all back of house staff.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • All duties of Line Cook plus assisting Head Chef with:
  • Inventory management
  • Menu and and “Special” design
  • Quality control
  • Staff management
  • Scheduling

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance
  • Kitchen leadership required
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently
  • Passion for the culinary arts required
  • Food safety knowledge required
  • Better than average communication and organization skills
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
