Job Overview:

The Assistant Manager at The Buzz is expected to have advanced knowledge of all products and services offered by

Buzz Cafe and is responsible for the oversight of daily cafe operations. This position will work shifts at the Barista

Station and Buzz Bar in with additional responsibility for inventory maintenance, point of sale and software updates,

and new product entry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Daily staff oversight
• Updating Untappd and other services
• Updating Point of sale and inventory sheets with new products
• Effectively address customer comments, concerns, and complaints
• Ensure product quality in all departments
• Training of Barista and Bar staff

Qualifications:

• Ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance
• Management experience preferred
• Passion for the culinary arts required
• Food safety knowledge preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office and spreadsheets preferred.
• Valid Kenosha Bartender’s License required in first 90 days.
• Better than average communication and organization skills
• Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Buzz Cafe and is responsible for the oversight of daily cafe operations including guest relations management,

leadership of wine program, staff training & scheduling, coffee & wine inventory management,  and reporting

on restaurant/bar activities to upper management. The Restaurant Manager is expected to work in tandem

with the Grease & Honey Restaurant Management Team towards advancement of the brand as a whole and

to increase customer experience between restaurants.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Daily staff oversight
• Head of guest relations
• Head of wine and coffee programs
• Effectively address customer comments, concerns, and complaints
• Ensure product quality in all departments
• Scheduling of front of house staff
• Training of front of house staff
• Quality control in all departments
• Reporting potential operations changes, staff changes, and disciplinary actions to upper management

Qualifications:

• Ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance
• Management experience required

Baristas are responsible for cash register operation as well as crafting our creative menu of coffee and tea

based beverages. Baristas are knowledgeable about all relevant aspects of coffee & tea and their different

methods of preparation. Baristas also facilitate the sale of other retail items including wine and beer and

should have a general knowledge of those products as well. Baristas are the number one point of

contact for customers of The Buzz and should be exceptional examples of customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service
• Preparation and service of coffee and tea based beverages
• Order taking and cash register operation
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and dining area
• Responsibility for cash drawer and report accuracy
• Assist with inventory maintenance
• Maintain stock and rotation levels of food and beverage products
• Maintaining consistency of official recipes
• Maintenance of coffee equipment

Qualifications:

• Ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Barista experience preferred
• Wine and / or beer knowledge preferred
• Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Job Overview:

BuzzTenders are responsible for on premise and retail sales of over 200 craft beers and 200 unique wines.

This position is expected to hold a greater than average knowledge of wine and beer products, their service,

and applicable local laws. In additon to sales, the Buzztender is responsible for providing exceptional food

and beverage service to guests seated at the bar or in the lounge area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service
• Preparation and service of wine and beer based beverages
• Order taking and cash register operation
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and dining area
• Responsibility for cash drawer and report accuracy
• Assist with inventory maintenance
• Maintain stock and rotation levels of food and beverage products
• Maintain general security of the building
• Stocking of wine and beer products daily
• Regular attendance of educational meetings

Qualifications:
