Job Overview:

 

This position serves as the first and last contact point with every guest entering the restaurant and is responsible for ensuring the efficiency and quality of service in the restaurant. A host at Sazzy B must be able to think on their feat to shift and move reservations in order to serve the most guests possible without sacrificing customer service quality. Hosts are also responsible for identifying and correcting seating/pacing issues before they happen as well as maintaining a general awareness of guests’ status/needs during service.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in providing exceptional customer service

  • Efficiently seat dining guests
  • Maintain a “wait list” and work to keep any guests from leaving while “on a wait”
  • Answer phones and provide accurate ant thorough answers to any phone questions
